Rogue Community College Access and Disability Resources recommends an informal resolution process for students receiving services. Timely and respectful communication help insure that a situation can be resolved quickly.
We encourage students to contact Access and Disability Resources regarding concerns as soon as an issue arises.
Access and Disability Resources Specialists/Faculty will assist you in helping to define the situation, suggest a reasonable solution(s) and, work directly with classroom faculty, college staff, facilities, program or the department to find an accessible resolution that is in compliance with section 504 of the rehabilitation act of 1973 and the ADA. Grievances filed against Disability Services are to be addressed to the ADA Coordinator.
For non-disability related issues you may file formal grievance through Rogue Community College's grievance procedure. Instructions can be found on RCC's Complaint Process page.
