Description
Introduces basic transparent watercolor and basic painting processes and techniques for the development of creative thinking and self-expression. Designed to expand aesthetic awareness and develop a personal visual language along with the skills to communicate in today's art world. A combination of mini-lectures, demonstrations, studio work and group discussions emphasize the characteristics of the materials, color theory, and a variety of painting styles and imagery. Runs in conjunction with the credit student class.
