Description
Commercial Music Ensemble is a performance and recording based ensemble that rehearses and performs repertoire from popular music styles. The ensemble includes vocalists, guitarists, bassists, keyboard/pianists, drummers/percussionists, strings, horns, and more. Membership in the ensemble is open to all students and those in the community. Students will have the opportunity to learn the language of popular music style, chart arranging and stylistic interpretation. Performances will occur at RCC and in the community. Ability to read music or play by ear. Some instruments are provided but many will need to be supplied by the student.
