Description
This course is designed to introduce beginners to the basics of machine sewing and serve as a refresher class for those who have not sewn in a while. You will learn to operate your sewing machine, learn about its accessories, how to thread a machine, wind a bobbin, change needles, adjust tension, and troubleshoot; about threads, fabrics, reading and laying out a pattern, basic sewing terms, basic construction methods, and about sewing tools and how to use them. We'll work on an easy pull-on pajama bottom during the session. Please bring your own serviced machine with its accessories.
