Description
Continues the exploration of basic transparent watercolor techniques along with the introduction of more experimental approaches to expand aesthetic awareness and develop a personal visual language in an historical and contemporary context. Students are required to demonstrate mastery of basic painting processes and techniques that make the development of creative thinking and self-expression possible. This course is a combination of lectures, demonstrations, studio work and group discussions that emphasize the characteristics of the materials, color theory, conceptualization, and a variety of painting styles and imagery.
