- Description
- Offers instruction in the use of a SLR digital camera and fundamentals of digital photography. Topics include image composition, digital camera techniques in various formats including raw, GIF, JPEG, and PNG, digital processing using Adobe Photoshop and digital printing. Students will learn how to manually operate a digital camera, taking control of aperature settings, shutter speeds, and iso controls. Students will learn how various lenses effect the depth of field and image quality of an exposure. Students must provide their own digital single lens reflex camera. Runs in conjuction with the credit class. Estimated cost of textbooks: $50.

- Zoom Classes: Class will meet during the listed times via Zoom. Information about Zoom-based classes will be available in the course Blackboard shell on the first day of the term. All teachers expect students to participate in the class on the first day of the term. Students not participating during the first day may be subject to administrative drop. Students should have access to a web cam and audio capabilities on their computer to fully participate in a Zoom class. Some Zoom classes are delivered in hybrid format and will have additional course participation requirements outside of Zoom sessions.
