- This course is for first-time ACLS students. Addresses the core knowledge necessary to evaluate and manage an adult victim of a cardiovascular emergency or cardiac arrest. This advanced, instructor-led classroom course highlights the importance of team dynamics and communication, systems of care, and immediate post-cardiac arrest care. Skills are taught in large group sessions and small group learning and testing stations where case-based scenarios are presented. A valid AHA BLS Provider card is required. For success in the class, it is recommended that students have a good understanding of ECG interpretation and emergency cardiac pharmacology. At the completion of the course students will receive an ACLS Provider eCard that is good for two years. Required textbook, ISBN 978-1-61669-772-3 must be purchased separetly before class. Course tuition includes pocket mask/valve and completion card. *You are liable for payment at the time of registration.
