Special Studies: Stress Management/ Healthy Living (Spring 2021)

- Provides students with an overview of some key lifestyle behaviors/issues that promote a life of health and wellness. Exercise, nutrition, and stress assessment/management and coping techniques will be the key topics of discussion. Students will finish the class with an understanding of those issues and the relationship of lifestyle to health and longevity so as to plan realistic short- and long-term goals for their health.
- Zoom Classes: Class will meet during the listed times via Zoom. Information about Zoom-based classes will be available in the course Blackboard shell on the first day of the term. All teachers expect students to participate in the class on the first day of the term. Students not participating during the first day may be subject to administrative drop. Students should have access to a web cam and audio capabilities on their computer to fully participate in a Zoom class. Some Zoom classes are delivered in hybrid format and will have additional course participation requirements outside of Zoom sessions.
- HE199: Will meet every Tuesday evening for 4 weeks, 6-8:20pm, April 6-27. Course will be a combination of Zoom and Web based learning.
