Description
Emphasizes technical writing and documentation while developing a functioning electronic system. Includes design and construction of a prototype electronic project requiring integration of a microcontroller-based system with digital and analog devices. Projects include the use of complex programmable logic devices (CPLDs) from Xilinx and embedded devices that include the AVR microcontrollers, Raspberry Pi, or Arduino platforms, with instructor approval, the Web Pack software ISE 7.1 for development of designs and test bench waveforms.
