Description
Covers the theory and application of solid-state semiconductor field effect transistors and thyristors. Topics include theory and application of field effect transistors as switches and amplifiers, large signal amplifier applications of bipolar junction transistors, frequency analysis in solid state circuits, and silicon-controlled rectifier theory and applications. Static and dynamic analysis of device and circuit operational performance is covered with application to problem solving and troubleshooting skills. In addition to hands-on experience with industry standard test equipment, computer simulation is used to enhance the presentation of theory and circuit applications and to develop troubleshooting skills.
