Description
Explores complex programmable logic devices (CPLDs) and field programmable gate arrays (FPGAs) including applications, processes for programming, DC parameters and timing analysis and troubleshooting. Applications include Sequential Logic, Latches, Flip/Flops, Timers, Counters/Registers, HDL Implementation, PLD HW Implementation, Finite State Machine Design/Analysis and Logic Testing. Laboratory assignments and projects will focus on using the Intel/Alteras platform and Verilog programming language to implement and test designs.
