Puentes - A Bridge to Success! (formerly HOLA – Helping Oregon Latinos Advance)
Starting college can feel exciting — and a little overwhelming.
Puentes is a summer bridge program designed to help you feel confident, prepared and connected before your first term at RCC even begins.
Through Puentes, you’ll:
- Meet other students your age who are also starting at RCC and build new friendships before fall term.
- Get one-on-one help with everything you need to start college—like admissions, financial aid, advising, and registering for classes.
- Learn what college is really like and how to stay on track from day one.
- Discover campus resources, clubs, and opportunities so you can find your people and get involved.
- Puentes is here to make sure you don’t have to figure out college on your own. You’ll leave feeling ready, supported, and excited to start your journey at RCC.
- Students are recommended to have the admissions application and Placement Process completed before attending.
