Patricia Ashley

Patricia AshleyBorn and reared in Oklahoma, Pat Ashley graduated from Oklahoma State University, worked as an on-air personality and did copy-writing for a local NBC station in Tulsa for two years then moved to Los Angeles. There she went to work as a secretary at NBC, moving up to writers’ secretary, script girl, Associate Producer and, finally, Producer. She was one of the first four women in Los Angeles television to reach this position. In 1997 she and her dentist husband Ron, moved into their new home in the Rogue Valley.

Pat joined the Eagle Point Friends of the Library, became a member of the Jackson County Library Advisory Committee, was on the Executive Committee for the Library Bond Measure, and was on the design team and art selection committee for the Medford Library. She has also served on the Rogue Gallery Board of Directors, Art in Bloom Board of Directors, and the Community Health Center Board of Directors (where she also served as President of the board for two years. Currently Pat serves as a Grant Evaluator for the Oregon Community Foundation and since 2007 she has been on the Board of Education for Rogue Community College and serves on the Board of Rogue Community College Foundation.
