Spacer RCC Assessing Institutional Effectiveness

Assessment of institutional effectiveness is used to determine whether RCC is fulfilling its mission: “Rogue Community College provides quality learning opportunities for students to achieve their goals and supports the vitality of our communities.” The RCC mission can be broken down into three components for assessment: quality learning, goal achievement, and community support.

Quality learning is assessed at multiple levels within the college; at the class level, through course learning outcomes; at the department level, through program learning outcomes; and at the institutional level, through institutional learning outcomes.

Goal achievement and community support is assessed through RCC’s strategic plan goals and objectives, and their associated key performance indicators (KPI’s).
