The SBM course is a unique high-powered combination of classroom and on-site business coaching that helps business owners directly apply what they learn to their business. The SBM course, offered in the Rogue Valley for over 20 years, has helped numerous local businesses grow and achieve significant results! 

The hands-on training teaches business owners to work “on” their businesses rather than just “in” them. In addition, A combination of practical coursework, owner networking, and personal coaching provides Rogue Valley business owners with improved insight, new business tools, and exposure to successful business concepts and practices

SBM offers a client-centered approach for learning proven, systematic business practices to more effectively manage business operations and increase profitability.  Business owners interested in improving their business skills attend two sessions each month:

• One evening class covering critical business topics
• One in-person advising session with the instructor

The SBM course offers personal support and guidance on how to most effectively work “on” your business, not just “in” your business.  The SBM curriculum covers the following topics and more:

• Marketing and Sales
• Employee Relations
• Effective Management Strategies

• An optional second year class is available, which most clients elect to take.

Full year tuition is $599.  The RCC SBDC estimates the value of this program if provided by private consultants to be upward to $10,000.  Save $100 — enroll and pay $499 by July 31, 2008!  Or, save $74 — enroll and pay $525 by September 30, 2008.    

How to Enroll:
