RCC's Pathfinder Programs: Opportunities for High School Students

As a high school student, what is your goal?

  • I want to learn about career and college opportunities and explore my options
  Construction
STEM Academy is an opportunity for high school students to experience careers in Science, Technology, Engineering and Math. Students come to RCC and participate in fun hands-on activities, presentation, industry tours, personalized career guidance, and more!
  • While in high school I want to take RCC courses
  COLLEGE NOW
COLLEGE NOW courses are taught by high school teachers and are free! This dual enrollment program allows high school students to earn college credit in selected high school classes while at the same time earning credit toward their high school diploma. Approved COLLEGE NOW High school teachers align the content of their classes to mirror courses taught on the RCC campus.
  Expanded Options
Extended Options students aim to graduate high school with an RCC certificate or the Oregon Transfer Module in hand! To complete their certificate or plan of study, students typically need traditional RCC courses in addition to the COLLEGE NOW offerings at their high school. Traditional RCC courses are offered at a discounted rate if arranged through the high school liaison.
  Full Time College

Early College students become full-time RCC students during their junior and/or senior high school years. This dual enrollment program allows high school students to first complete the Oregon Transfer Module before pursuing the AAOT: Associate of Arts Oregon Transfer degree. High schools back grant credit towards students' high school diplomas.

  Morris Scholarship
This limited-entry scholarship is available to first-generation or low-income students at Butte Falls, Crater, Eagle Point, and Rogue River High Schools. Students continue to utilize COLLEGE NOW and Early Entry RCC courses to complete an approved program; however, the scholarship funds class costs for traditional RCC courses needed.
