In the PeopleAdmin online hiring system, the "Hourly Pay Rate" field is to be used for the hourly rate that will be advertised for the position. This should only be completed for Temp Staff positions(NTE 599 hrs/yr) and Student Worker positions. Either “TBD” (to be determined) or an hourly pay rate should be entered in this field. Acceptable hourly rates are as follows:

Temp Staff (NTE 599 hrs/calendar year) Skill Levels and Hourly Pay Ranges:

• Basic Skills: $ 8.95 – $ 9.99
• Intermediate Skills: $ 10.00 – $13.99
• Highly Skilled / Technical: $14.00 – $18.00
• Other above: $18.00

Student Worker Hourly Pay Rates:

• Regular Student Worker Positions
  $ 8.95/hr (typical entry level)

• Peer Tutor / Lab Aid Positions/Peer Assistants:
  $ 9.65/hr (typical entry level)
