Description:
The Jeffrey Hensley Scholarship was created to support any undergraduate or graduate college student while pursuing their educational and career dreams. Mr. Hensley founded this scholarship because he believes that a highly deserving college student can use this $1,000 scholarship to complete their degree. He knows that there is no greater way to improve one’s life than to have high scholastic achievements. So, Mr. Hensley is very pleased to provide the winning entry with this scholarship award.

If you are interested in applying for this $1,000 scholarship award, review the eligibility requirements and follow the instructions to submit your application. Any full-time undergraduate or graduate student enrolled in a degree program is welcome to apply. You must be enrolled in an accredited university or college (part-time or full-time).

Topics for the Scholarship Essay
To be considered for this scholarship offer, you must write a quality essay about one of the following subjects:

What can be done in the U.S. to improve access to higher education for minorities?
What was the most embarrassing moment in your life and why?
Where would you draw the line for freedom of speech?
What is or was the most difficult aspect of college you faced?
What are you not good at but try to do anyway?

Scholarship Application Submission
We receive countless scholarship applications daily, so be sure that you follow these rules:

The essay must be entirely your own creation (no plagiarized material).
There can be no spelling or grammatical mistakes.
The essay must be in Microsoft Word format.
It must be at least 1,000 words and not more than 3,000 words.

Scholarship Video Essay (Optional)
Mr. Hensley recognizes that some students may prefer to shoot a video for their essay submission. Please provide your video to the email address below by including a link to host site where the video is stored. Be sure the video and audio are high quality. The video should range from at least 3 to 10 minutes (maximum).
