Bill was born in East Liverpool, OH but lived across the Ohio River in Midland, PA. When he was 4 years old his family moved to Middle Branch, OH and then moved again during his senior year of high school to Arcadia, CA. After high school Bill served in the U. S. Coast Guard as a Petty Officer Machinery Technician 3rd class, first on the U.S. Coast Guard icebreaker Burton Island visiting and breaking ice at both the North and South Poles. The rest of his 4 years in the Coast Guard was spent aboard 41 foot search and rescue boats and Fleet Support Group in San Pedro, CA.
Bill worked as a Journeyman Maintenance Electrician for over 30 years. He and his wife Vicki moved to Grants Pass in 2006 to be closer to grandchildren. He started working at the Grants Pass Vet Center in 2009 as a work study and moved to Office Manager in 2012. Bill joined the RCC team as a High School Driver Ed and Industrial Forklift Safety Instructor in January 2008.
Bill graduated with a BS Degree in Psychology from SOU the summer of 2012, completing a lifelong dream. He and Vicki have been married for 34 years and had 4 sons together, and now have 3 wonderful grandchildren. He likes to ride and race off road motorcycles, build off road buggies, work on the home, spend time with family, and be part of Bible home groups.
