SECTION C: FACILITIES
The needs of the educational programs of Rogue Community College are to be given first priority in determining uses of buildings and facilities. The College also recognizes its responsibilities to serve the community in other ways; and, therefore, will make buildings and facilities available for community use, providing such use is not in conflict with the needs of the educational programs. Fees, as appropriate, may be charged for use of College facilities.

SECTION C: HONORARY NAMING OF BUILDINGS/FACILITIES
The Board recognizes the symbolic significance of naming facilities after individuals and families who have donated substantially to the College Foundation. When substantial donations are made, the College Foundation should discuss with the College President an appropriate naming recommendation to be made to the Board.
Although it is the final responsibility of the Board of Education to name on and off campus buildings which are acquired by the College or constructed with taxpayer funds or with funds that are donated or raised by the College Foundation, the President should actively solicit ideas and involvement from the Foundation with the intent of reaching a consensus on a recommendation to the Board for naming facilities.
The RCC Board of Education supports recognition of all donations to the College and should be kept informed of major donors of time and/or resources to the College. Recommendations for recognition and naming should be made to the College President for discussion with the Board, as deemed appropriate.
