Notes:
Completion of the above listed courses will fulfill the Pre-Medical Imaging freshman year requirements. Additional lower division courses may be completed at RCC prior to transfer. See OIT catalog or department website for the specific courses required in the concentrations.

To be eligible for admission into the MIT program, the following minimum requirements must be met:

1. Applicants must be admitted to OIT. Admission to OIT is independent of admission to MIT program.

2. Students must complete all the prerequisite courses in the freshman year curriculum before making application to the professional program.

3. Students must have a weighted GPA of 3.0 or above in the following courses to apply to one of the four MIT programs:
Bi 231, 232, 233; Math 111, 112; Chem 104 + lab; Wr 121, 122; MIT 103.

2. Luncheon and Activity -
Applicants will be required to attend a luncheon and complete the luncheon activities to be considered for selection. The luncheon/activities will take approximately half of the day so please keep that day free of any other commitments.

4. Courses required to meet OIT's general education requirements are embedded within this degree program. Students should refer to the MIT website for the specific curriculum requirements for sophomore, junior and senior program.

5. All four of the bachelor degree programs in MIT culminate in a senior year of clinical practice at a medical center. The twelve month externship is spent at the affiliate institution under the supervision of a clinical instructor. Students do not have classes on the OIT campus during this year.

6. Students are strongly advised to visit the MIT website on regular basis for updated selection criteria and admission procedures and deadlines for this program.

Additional Requirements:
1. Transfer applicants must have a cumulative 2.5 GPA or better in college-level classes unless they hold an associate's or bachelor's degree already, in which case, only a cumulative 2.0 GPA is required.

2. In order to be admitted to OIT, transfer applicants must complete the equivalent of Math 95 (or higher) and Wr 115 Introduction to Expository Writing (or higher) with grades of "C-" or better.

3. Applicants who do not have an Associate's or Bachelor's degree must have at least 33 college-level credits that are not in Physical Education, and no more than 10 percent of an applicant's credits may be in Physical Education.
