Notes:
Completion of the above listed courses will fulfill the Pre-Dental Hygiene freshman year requirements.

To be eligible for admission into the Dental Hygiene Department, the following minimum eligibility requirements must be met:

1. Applicants must have on file with the Office of Admissions an official application for admission to OIT. Admission to OIT is independent of admission to the Dental Hygiene Program.

2. Applicants must have successfully completed or be in-progress of completing all freshman pre-dental hygiene courses by fall term of the year of entry.

3. Applicants must have a minimum cumulative 2.50 GPA in previous course work.

4. It is imperative students visit the Dental Hygiene website (link below) for all current program and admission information.

Additional Requirements:
1.To be considered for admission to the Dental Hygiene Program, each applicant must meet minimum admission eligibility and submit a complete application package to the Dental Hygiene Department by APRIL 1. Incomplete applications or applications received after April 1st will not be considered.

2. Application packages may be obtained from the Dental Hygiene Department website.

3. College Transcripts - All applicants must have official transcripts sent directly to the Dental Hygiene Department. Students will need to order two official transcripts - one for OIT Admissions Office and one for Dental Hygiene program.

4. To be admitted to OIT as a transfer student, applicants must have a minimum 2.50 GPA and 36 transferable credits.
