Notes:
1. Pre-med students are strongly encouraged to meet with RCC Science faculty to develop an effective transfer plan early in their academic career.

Additional Requirements:
1. A bachelor of arts or science is required before matriculation to medical school. No particular major is preferred, but a broad educational background is encouraged.

2. Students should refer to the FAQ's on OHSU School of Medicine website for general selection considerations for admission to program.

3. Average GPA of admitted students is 3.60 overall and in science courses.

4. All applicants must apply to the American Medical College Application Serice (AMCAS) which begins receiving applications for OHSU on June 15 and closes on October 15.

5. All applicants must take the Medical College Admission Test (MCAT)prior to the year in which they seek admission.
