Notes:
1. Pre-Dental students are strongly encouraged to meet with RCC Science faculty to develop an effective transfer plan early in their academic career.
Community College Limitations: It is recommended that a student attend no more than one year at a community college.

2. All pre-dental courses must be taken for a letter grade. P/NP credit will not fulfill OHSU requirements.

OHSU recommends that the majority of science classes be taken at a 4-year college or university with no more than one year at a community college.

Additional Requirements:
1. Students are not required to complete a bachelor's degree prior to admission to the program. However, it is highly preferred to have a bachelors degree prior to matriculation.

2. A GPA of 3.0 or above in required pre-dental courses is recommended.

3. Average GPA of admitted students is 3.63 overall. Students should refer to the School of Dentistry website for Characteristics of the entering class.

4. It is recommended that DAT (Dental Admissions Test) scores be received by School of Dentistry no later than September 1st of the application year.
