Bobbi Kidder, MA, RDT, BCT, is a full-time instructor at Rogue Community College and  Executive Director of Southern Oregon Impact Theatre.  She leads workshops on such topics as Presentation Skills, Conflict Resolution, and Using Drama in the Classroom.  Bobbi is a founding member of  the Hamazons,  and a member of the new troupe, “Comedy at 6.” .  She received the Asante Foundation  "Applegate Award" for contributions to education in 2001, Zonta “Community Rose” award in 2003, was a NISOD finalist in 2004, and received the Winema Council of the Girl Scouts of America “Can Do” award in 2007. Bobbi has written ImaginACTION: Activities That Allow Students to Get Up on Their Feet and Moving!, the novel Big Window, and several articles about drama and creativity.

Wayd DrakeWayd Drake is the Acting I, II, III instructor on the Redwood Campus.
Wayd has participated in theatre since his first appearance as a young child on the Barnstormers stage.  During high school Wayd joined Bobbi Kidder’s first Teen Theatre troupe and learned how important acting can be as a tool to better our community as well as a window into one’s own humanity.  

Wayd continued his study of acting at RCC and the University of Oregon. Highlights of his performing career included roles in Bay area and local productions including  Screwtape , To Kill a MockingbirdOne Flew over the Cuckoo’s Nest, and Death of a Salesman.

Wayd has worked with Bobbi Kidder for over ten years in schools and community groups using drama as an instrument to communicate ideas and educate. He is a long-time board member of Southern Oregon Impact Theatre, where he also coordinates a Personal Safety Program, directing actors who teach kindergarten through 2nd graders sexual abuse prevention strategies. He is passionate about organic, original theatre with a message and believes that acting is a journey of personal discovery and giving back to the community.
