The Redwood program's focus is on exploring the creative process and expressing it through performance and connection to community.
Fall - Spring, Redwood Campus offers TA 141, 142, and 143 Fundamentals of Acting and TA 144, 145, 146 Improvisation for the Theatre. A fall quarter storytelling production is created in T.A. 153 Theatre Rehearsal and Production and students may also receive T.A. 153 credit by participating in authorized independent projects (Contact Bobbi Kidder to discuss this). Special classes in Drama Therapy, Readers Theatre, and Comedy Camp are among the classes offered intermittently.
In addition to our classes, we have a special relationship with Southern Oregon Impact Theatre* where Redwood campus theatre students learn one of the important ways the arts survive-through the work of private non-profit organizations. Students participate in Impact projects, serve as board members, and see their innovative ideas serve their community.
