TRiO SSS Services

TRiO/Student Support Services on the Redwood Campus provides a variety of services at no charge for students who intend to transfer to a 4-year college or university and who tested out of, completed, or are enrolled in MTH60 and WR115.

Services include the following:

• Academic and transfer advising
• Career and financial planning
• University tours and cultural activities
• Tuition-free transfer classes
• Scholarship workshops
• Lounge with kitchen and computers
• Peer tutoring and mentoring
• Study and support groups
• Network of friends, faculty and staff

• Raise your GPA
• Increase test scores
• Overcome academic difficulties
• Create a plan for a successful transfer
  

To be eligible, students must have the intent to transfer to a 4-year college or university and have either:

• Financial barriers
• Documented disabilities or
• Been raised by parent or caregiver who has not earned a bachelor’s degree
  (first generation college student).
