Tobacco Policy Task Force

Tobacco Policy

Rogue Community College is committed to providing a safe and healthy environment for its employees, students and visitors. To that end, the RCC Board of Education voted in March to adopt a new policy restricting tobacco use on campus. Effective July 1, smoking will be permitted only in designated smoking areas.

All college employees, students, visitors, and contractors will be required to comply with the new policy.

NOTE: The policy may not apply to specific activities used in connection with the practice of cultural activities. However, the president of RCC or a designee must approve any exceptions in advance.
