First Time College
Standard Admission Process
Applying for admission to Rogue Community College is fast, easy and free. We admit any student who is 18 or older and has completed a high school program of study, GED® or Adult High School Diploma. If you will be completing one of these before beginning courses, this profile also applies to you. If you are over 18 but have not completed a high school program of study or GED®, take the placement test to meet admission standards.
Here are the simple steps to follow to be registered for credit courses at Rogue:
- Step 1:
- Complete the Online Admission Application. It's free and takes about 10 minutes to complete. At the end, you will receive a list of instructions to complete your admission. Do you want to view the process before you start? Watch the online admission tutorial.
- Step 2:
- Placement testing lets you know what math and writing levels to start at.
- Step 3:
- At your orientation, chat with a counselor and get the okay to register and lots of important information.
- Step 4:
- Register for courses.
- Step 5:
- Pay tuition and fees (see cost of attending RCC).
Although RCC has an open admissions policy, our limited entry programs have specific entrance requirements to be accepted into their programs. Visit that program's webpage to view their specific requirements.
