Description
Offered in a semi-directed format allowing students to develop a creative thinking and self-expression approach to painting style and imagery. Designed to expand aesthetic awareness and develop a personal visual language along with the skills to communicate in today's art world. Course assignments explore series development, media experimentation and mastering techniques. The emphasis is on individual development of imagery and style. A combination of mini-lectures, demonstrations, studio work and group discussions focus on the materials, theory, and philosophies of watercolor painting.
