Small Business Management instructor

Linda Ballasy
Prior to serving as the Jackson County SBM Instructor, Ballasy served as CEO of Big Brothers/Big Sisters of Northwest Washington, which she turned around financially and organizationally in her three years there. She was responsible for all facets of operations including fund development, board, community, financial, and marketing. She worked for the National Mentoring Center at Northwest Regional Educational Laboratory training staff to mentor youths, assisting the development of service programs, and facilitating national and regional workshops on marketing, risk management, policies and procedures.

Ballasy has a master's of education in community counseling and an MBA in marketing and management. She also served a year as a part-time business instructor for Central Oregon Community College in the mid 90s.
