Kenny has been the Business Development Coordinator of the Illinois Valley Business Entrepreneurial Center since it opened at the RCC Kerby Campus in spring 2009. A west coast native, he has nearly thirty years as a sole proprietor and owner of a variety of small businesses. He has had a leading role in the Illinois Valley as a project manager and coordinator for several high profile community development projects including the Siskiyou Community Health Center, the IV Airport Industrial Park, Siskiyou Field Institute, the Deer Creek Center for Field Research and Education, and the Kerby Community Drinking Water System. He has been a founding board director for four area nonprofits. Equally comfortable in both the public and private sectors, Kenny brings a unique set of skills and perspectives to the success of the Business Entrepreneurial Center as it serves rural Josephine County.
Kenny currently sits on the IV Airport Advisory Board and the Friends of the Oregon Caves and Chateau. He and his wife enjoy hiking and biking throughout the northwest, as well as international travels to Mexico and beyond.
