A: January 6 - February 28, 2014.
Q: What does the Rogue Ambassadors Scholarship pay for?
A: The Rogue Ambassadors Scholarship pays half tuition (up to 9 credits per term) in year one and full tuition in year two (up to 18 credits) for qualifying Rogue Ambassadors participants. Fees, books, and miscellaneous costs are not covered. Summer terms do not qualify for Rogue Ambassadors Scholarship funding.
Q: I am a home-schooled student. Am I eligible?
A: At this time, home-schooled students are not eligible to participate in the Rogue Ambassadors Scholarship.
Q: I am a fifth-year high school student. Am I eligible?
A: Yes, as long as your cumulative GPA is 3.5 or better and you are enrolled in an eligible high school.
Q: I am earning a modified high school diploma. Am I eligible?
A: No. Students must receive a standard high school diploma from an eligible high school.
Q: May I enroll in summer term at RCC immediately following my high school graduation?
A: You may take classes in the summer term, but not as a Rogue Ambassador. Tuition expenses are your responsibility and are not covered by, or included in the Rogue Ambassadors Scholarship. However, as a recent Josephine or Jackson County high school graduate, you may qualify for the Buy-One-Get-One-Free Tuition Award. Credits taken during summer term do not count towards the minimum of 36 credits which must be completed in the first year to maintain eligibility for the Rogue Ambassadors Scholarship.

A: You may take classes in the summer term, but not as a Rogue Ambassador. Tuition expenses are your responsibility and are not covered by, or included in the Rogue Ambassadors Scholarship.
Q: May I take classes at any RCC campus?
A: Yes. You may attend classes at any of RCC's three campuses.
Q: I understand that I must maintain a GPA of 3.5 or better while enrolled at Rogue Community College. When are GPAs checked for eligibility?
A: During year one, students' 3.5 GPA is verified at the end of spring term, while second year Rogue Ambassadors' GPA's are verified at the end of every term to determine continued eligibility for the Rogue Ambassadors Scholarship.
Q: Do I have to be eligible for federal financial aid in order to qualify for the Rogue Ambassadors Scholarship?
A: No. You do not have to qualify for federal financial aid to be considered for the Rogue Ambassadors Scholarship.
Q: Can I be dual enrolled at Southern Oregon University and have my Rogue Ambassadors Scholarship applied there?
A: You may be dual enrolled with SOU; however, the Rogue Ambassadors Scholarship will pay only for courses taken at Rogue Community College. RCC GPA and credit completion requirements will not change.
Q: I already have some credits at RCC. Will those credits count towards the 36 I need in the first year to maintain eligibility?
A: No. Only credits after your acceptance into the Rogue Ambassadors' Program are counted toward the 36 credits needed to meet continued scholarship eligibility criteria.
