Unit-Self Studies
Fall 2000

Unit self-studies were conducted by all Rogue Community College departments and operational areas in Fall, 2000 to serve as a planning tool as well as a resource for the Accreditation Standards' Committees. The collected self-study narratives which follow were presented at President's Council on November 7, 2000 and subsequently distributed in hard copy to Deans and Standard's Chairs.

The texts which follow are summaries of these unit studies. The full reports, which include extensive exhibits and support documentation, are contained in individual binders which can be accessed in the Instructional Office.

These self-studies are a work in progress. They will be updated in whole or in part during the remainder of the accreditation process. The self-studies are also an invaluable resource. Each is both the product and the responsibility of the unit which it represents. Faculty and Staff are asked to their respective unit study for completeness. Please address any comments to your department head who will pass these revisions to the Instructional Office for inclusion in this report.

The self studies are a visible testimony to this excellence, and the Institutional Effectiveness Task Force is grateful for the energies and insights involved in preparing them.
