2008-09 Health InsuranceClick Here For 2007-08 Health Insurance Information (BCBS) Open Enrollment: August 25 - September 11, 2008One of the most valuable benefits that Rogue Community College offers, is the exceptional health insurance coverage provided to eligible employees. Effective October 1, 2008, Rogue Community College will be offering two plan options through Aetna for employees who are eligible to participate in the group health insurance: Open Choice PPO $250 Plan and Open Choice PPO $750 Plan. The health insurance plans include medical, prescription, vision, dental, and orthodontic insurance. Chiropractic, Acupuncture, and Naturopathic benefits are also included. Due to the change in insurance carriers from Regence BCBS to Aetna, open enrollment meetings are required this year for all eligible participants. At this meeting you will learn about the process involved in selecting our new health insurance carrier, plan options, and details specific to each plan. You will have an opportunity to have all of your questions answered at the meeting. Please plan to attend and hold your questions until that time. Plan summaries, forms, and rates are listed below. 2008-2009 Rates / Eligibility(Effective October 1, 2008 - September 30, 2009) Aetna Open Choice PPO $250 Plan Rates Full-Time Employees Part-Time Classified (20-29 Hours Per Week) Eligible Part-time Adjunct Faculty If you have questions regarding Part-time Adjunct Faculty eligibility, please contact Cessa Vichi, Part-time Faculty Contracts Specialist, at (541) 956-7004. If you have questions about your eligibility, be sure to read the Classified Collective Bargaining Agreement or the Faculty Collective Bargaining Agreement Dependents Eligible dependents may only be added during open enrollment. Ineligible dependents must be dropped within 30 days of becoming ineligible. An employee should drop an ineligible dependent by submitting a completed enrollment/change form to HR. *In accordance with federal regulations, electing coverage for a same-sex domestic partner will result in tax implications on a portion of the health insurance premium.
