2012 Spring Wellness Activity
Our annual Health & Wellness activity for staff and faculty is tackling stress this year. Why? Because stress is a killer plain and simple. It’s something each of us deals with in our busy lives and jobs. It is a topic worthy of our time and attention because good health is part of the bedrock of our happy and rewarding lives.
The activity will run for 5 weeks and the weekly print-outs will feature information about stress, ways to cope with stress and five simple “Stress Fighter” techniques to employ.
Take a moment to read and process the information. As you recognize stress during your week, try out a few of the stress reduction methods to see how they work for you. Then send in the number of techniques you utilized to be entered in our weekly Wednesday drawings. Turn in all five slips to be entered in our super bonus grand prize drawing at the end of the activity.
This event runs from April 30 through June 1, 2012. Weekly slips due by Wednesday of the following week. Final date to turn in slips is June 9th .
All work and no play. . .is not the healthy way. Join us as we drop a few pounds of stress this term!
