RCC Foundation Scholarships
Thank you for your interest in applying for RCC Foundation scholarships. The application process for the 2008-09 is currently underway.  The deadline is 5pm, March 3rd, 2008.  Application forms are available online or at the following Rogue Central Services for Students locations:

RCC Foundation Scholarships
The RCC Foundation currently manages over 170 separate scholarship funds.  Each year the foundation awards over 400 scholarships to current and prospective RCC students.  Scholarships range in criteria - from students pursuing any major, to students from specific high schools, backgrounds, ethnicity, and students pursuing specific careers and majors such as Nursing, Math, Early Childhood Education, etc.  Through submission of just ONE RCC Foundation Scholarship Application students are able to apply for over 170 different scholarship funds at once. 

For 2007-08, nearly 400 students were awarded over $520,000 in scholarship assistance. On average, 75-80% of applicants are awarded.

The application process for the 2008-09 is currently underway.  The submission deadline is 5pm, March 3rd, 2008.  Application forms are available online and at all Rogue Central Services for Students locations, or at the RCC Foundation in H Building on the Redwood Campus.

To be eligible for Foundation scholarship awards, recipients must enroll in and complete a minimum of 6 credits per term and maintain a GPA of at least 2.5 (unless otherwise specified by individual scholarship awards).

Student Checklist:

  • Be sure all sections of the application are completed. Write clearly and legibly or type.
  • Your personal statement (essay) will be judged on content, neatness, spelling, and grammar. The statement must be ONE page or less.
  • Two completed recommendation forms are required from instructors, counselors, or employers. It is the responsibility of the student to make certain both recommendations are included in the application package. Please limit to two; extras will not be considered.
  • If you are not a current RCC student, you must include a copy of your high school or other college transcript to be eligible.

COMPLETED APPLICATIONS MUST BE SUBMITTED TO A ROGUE CENTRAL LOCATION OR THE RCC FOUNDATION NO LATER THAN 5 P.M. MARCH 3, 2008.
