UKIES Innovative Womens Scholarship (ID 3078)

Scholarship Description

Start Date:
UKIES is proud to announce a $2,000 Innovative Women’s Scholarship.

Entrepreneur and technology pundit Vivek Wadhwa once said, “A key ingredient in innovation is the ability to challenge authority and break rules.” At UKIES, we strive to go against the grain of traditional footwear by making shoes that are both comfortable and stylish for women. However, we know that so many women are discouraged from pursuing their dreams of being inventors and innovators in favor of a more “conventional career.”

We want to encourage all innovators who are on their way to college to continue shaking up the world with their brilliant new ideas. Our goal is to help ease the financial burden of college for women innovators so they can continue their mission of seeing the world in new ways and, in turn, making life easier for those around them.
