- VidgoTV is proud to announce the annual $2,000 VidgoTV.com scholarship. At Vidgo TV, we are excited about the future. We believe great technology will enhance our lives in ways we have not yet envisioned. By creating this scholarship we want to encourage students to think critically about what the world will look like in 5 or 10 years. These are the students who will shape this future, with inventions, discoveries, and new developments. This scholarship is open to all university students, including those who will be starting in August 2017. The application process is simple: you will have to write an essay (minimum of 750 words) on one of the topics listed below.

- Applicant must be a U.S. Citizen or Permanent Legal Resident of the United States and be at least 17 years of age.
Incoming freshmen must show proof of admission into a university/college for the 2017 academic year, by either sending a copy of the admission letter or requesting a university official email stating their admission.
Current university students include freshmen, sophomore, junior, and senior who will be enrolled full-time during until December 2017.
Minimum GPA required for current university students is 2.25.
The funds will be awarded by VIDGO TV in the form of a scholarship, to be applied to qualified expenses, which include, but are not limited to: tuition and fees, room and board, books, and other miscellaneous university-related expenses. The payment will be disbursed to the winner’s university no later than October 1, 2017, after a team of judges announce the winning essay on September 30, 2017.

When writing the essay, use specific reasons and examples to support your answer. You should include at least three credible sources of information. We want to encourage creativity, research and critical thinking skills in these essays, skills which will help you achieve success in your future career.
