- Alan Lescht & Associates, P.C., is a Washington, D.C., employment law firm that represents federal and private-sector workers. Our attorneys worked hard to earn undergraduate and law degrees, and we understand the value of education. We also understand that college can place a tremendous financial strain on both students and their families. As a result, we are offering a $1,000 ANNUAL scholarship to a current or prospective college student. The scholarship will be awarded to the winner of our essay contest.
- In order to participate in our scholarship contest, you must meet the following criteria:
Currently attend or plan to attend a college or university during the 2016-2017 academic year
Be in good academic standing with his/her current educational institution
If under the age of 18, have permission from a parent/legal guardian
- Special Criteria:
- On or before OCTOBER 17, 2017, email the following to Alan Lescht & Associates, P.C., at firstname.lastname@example.org:
-Your name, address, and the name of the institution you attend or plan to attend during the 2016-2017 school year.
-An essay of no more than 750 words on the following topic:
Companies frequently require employees to sign non-disclosure agreements that prohibit the employee for going to work for a competitor, even if they are fired without cause. Should non-compete agreements be unlawful? Why or why not?
