Description:
Medford Masonic Lodge #103 has a scholarship program available to current and former students of the Central Point and Medford School Districts as well as private high schools operating within these districts. This program is also available for students attending Rogue Community College and Southern Oregon University. The Lodge can award single scholarships up to $1,000 and previous recipients of a scholarship may apply in subsequent years. Scholarship applications are due by April 15 each year, for the upcoming school year starting in the Fall. Special Criteria:
On a separate sheet(s) of paper, please respond to the following:

A. Attach a copy of an official high school transcript and a copy of an official college transcript (if applicable).

B. Provide the names, addresses, and phone numbers of two non-family members who we may contact as references for you.

C. List your activities (including your charitable activities) and hobbies.

D. List honors and awards you have received.

E. List your intended major, and the school or college you plan to attend.

F. Answer the question - Why are you applying for this scholarship?

G. Answer the following question in a one-page essay: Why is it important to participate in charitable actions?

Applicants may be called for a personal interview.
