Description:
Welcome to the American Spirit Publishing Scholarship photo contest! The 2013 American Spirit Publishing Scholarship Photo Contest is open! As usual, we're doing a Portrait of America theme.

Entries are in the form of a “Portrait of America”, which can be a photo, drawing, or painting, but must be submitted to the official contest page on this web site OR sent by postal mail postmarked by June 1st, 2013.

Eligibility:
Contestants must be currently enrolled in high school or equivalent (freshman to senior, grades 9-12), and must be an American citizen. Permanent residents who are not citizens are not eligible at this time.
Special Criteria:
You may ask your friends and family to vote for your entries on the web site. Sharing via Twitter, Facebook, and other social media is allowed. Only human voting please – no scripts!

The winner will be chosen by the scholarship award committee from a pool of the top 20 entries by their ratings online and the top 5 entries sent by postal mail.

You may submit only 1 entry this year. People who submit more than 1 (other than corrections to previous entries – such as corrupt files) will be disqualified.

Winners will be notified by email by June 30th. Make sure your registered email address is correct in your profile.
