An award will be given to a student pursuing any associate's or bachelor's degree program emphasizing Criminal Justice or Law Enforcement. Areas of study that will be considered include Criminal Justice, Law Enforcement, Homeland Security, Sociology with Law/Criminal emphasis, Corrections, Computer Forensics, and Forensic Psychology among others.
Applicants should be pursuing a degree within a related Criminal Justice or Law Enforcement program emphasis, such as one of the following:
•Associate's in Criminal Justice •Associate's in Law Enforcement •Associate's in Computer Forensics •Bachelor's in Criminal Justice •Bachelor's in Corrections •Bachelor's in Forensic Psychology

•Must be a U.S. Citizen or Permanent U.S. Resident •Must be enrolled (or accepted) in an accredited college or university and planning on continuing the next year. •Graduating high school seniors who meet the above mentioned criteria may apply. •Must have a minimum of 30 semester or 45 quarter hours still to be completed. •Must consent to provide a digital photograph of self and quote for display on Education-Portal.com if notified as the award winner by the selection committee.
Special Criteria:
Selection will be based on academic history and extracurricular activities. Financial need will not be considered.
