There are awards at two levels: •The program targets to award up to 10 scholarships of up to $30,000. Awards are renewable up to four additional years or until a certificate, associate’s degree or bachelor's degree is earned, whichever occurs first, on the basis of satisfactory academic performance. (NOTE: Students receiving a certificate or associate’s degree who immediately go on to pursue a bachelor’s degree with no interruption in study are eligible to continue to renew their scholarship up to four years or until a bachelor’s degree is earned.) The award amount for each of these recipients will be based on submission of a financial aid award letter and Student Aid Report (SAR). Scholarship Management Services will determine the award amount based on the comprehensive school cost minus other gift aid (scholarships and grants) that each recipient is receiving. •All remaining awards will be $2,500 each. The $2,500 awards are not renewable; however, students may reapply to the program each year they meet eligibility requirements. •Scholarship Management Services will issue $2,500 awards in one installment on behalf of PG&E. The check will be issued August 15, 2013. •Scholarship Management Services will issue awards in excess of $2,500 in two installments on behalf of PG&E. The checks will be issued August 15, 2013 and December 30, 2013. •Checks are mailed from Scholarship Management Services to each recipient's home address and are made payable to the school for the student. •The award may be used to pay for undergraduate education related expenses only.
