We had a very successful first year using our new website and have found ways to improve the experience for students, parents and visiters during this, our second year. Our website can give you a place to learn about our organization, fill out scholarship applications online,and learn about our upcoming news, events, important deadlines, and how to donate using the website. We provide our students with an opportunity to apply for scholarships on-line, where they not only complete one application for the scholarships in Days Creek, but can use this same application to apply for numerous scholarships nationwide.
• Applicants must be enrolled in or planning to enroll in an undergraduate program of study. • Applicants must be enrolled in or planning to enroll full-time at an accredited two- or four year college, university, or vocational-technical school for the first time. • Adult students entering or resuming a postsecondary program of study are also eligible • Past recipients of the award are eligible to apply again. • Full-time study is defined as full-term enrollment for the entire upcoming academic year.
Special Criteria:
SELECTION CRITERIA: • Level of volunteer community service over the past four years measured by hours. • Academic achievement measured by GPA • Work experience measured in hours • School activities measured by amount of different activities and hours • A statement of goals.
