Description:
The scholarships will be awarded to deserving Asian-American students
at our 15th Annual Scholarship & Awards Banquet held Friday, April 26 at northeast
Portland’s TAO Event Center.

Scholarship applicants must be graduating high school students or current college
students who will be working toward an undergraduate degree at an institution of
higher education in Oregon or Washington during the 2013-2014 school year as a
full-time student.

Must be of Asian descent
Must be a resident of Oregon or Clark County, Washington
Must be a graduating high school student or current college student who will be working toward an undergraduate degree at an institution of higher education in Oregon or Washington during the 2013-2014 school year as a full-time student
Minimum GPA of 3.25
Must demonstrate financial need (FAFSA SAR required)
Involvement in community- or school-related activities
Recipients of The Asian Reporter Foundation’s 2012 scholarship awards are not eligible to apply for 2013 scholarship awards
Students selected for 2013 scholarship awards are required to attend the awards
event on April 26, 2013
