•Visually impaired Oregon residents planning to enroll in full-time undergraduate or graduate studies •FAFSA: Required - based on financial need •“Visually impaired” is defined by Oregon Administrative Rules, Chapter 581, Division 15--Oregon Department of Education, 581-015-0051 (14) •Apply-compete annually • Additional document: Submit a letter from a physician documenting one or more of the following criteria: (a) residual acuity of 20/70 or less in the better eye with correction or (b) visual field restricted to 20 degrees or less in the better eye

Deadlines: February 15 Early Bird Review Deadline- Receive an early application review and a chance to win a $500 scholarship if you submit your completed and error-free OSAC application by this date. If errors are found, you will receive an opportunity to make corrections. March 1 FINAL Deadline- Submit your OSAC scholarship application online by March 1 by 5:00 p.m. PST.
