The following scholarship information has been compiled by RCC to assist you in your scholarship search. It is our hope that you find it a useful tool for connecting to funding that makes it possible for you to reach your educational dreams.

RCC recognizes that there are many effective, web-based scholarship search sites already available. As you use "Scholarship Central", you'll find that we've provided links to a number of these sites. Please use "Scholarship Central" to springboard your search. Scholarship information listed in "Scholarship Central" does not attempt to exhaust or duplicate information available elsewhere. Rather, it is an attempt to highlight scholarship opportunities for our students and our community members. While we cannot guarantee that you'll be selected to receive scholarship funds, we can guarantee that only those who apply will be considered.

TIPS:

  • Follow the directions and submit complete, on-time applications.
    ("Anything worth doing, is worth doing right." Most scholarships allow you to apply between January and April for the following school year.)

    (Be sure to "put your best foot forward." Be truthful and consistent, but this is your chance to brag!)
  • If you don't find a scholarship opportunity that fits you, keep looking.
    (Most sites are updated on a continual basis, as information becomes available.)
  • Don't just apply for one; keep applying.
    (Diligence often pays off!)
  • If you don't get it this year, keep the information and apply again next year.
    ("If at first you don't succeed, try, try again.")
  • Keep a copy (electronic preferred) of everything you submit.
    (You may want to use it again, have to re-submit it, or be asked to refer to it.)
