- Facility Use Forms
- College classes and activities have priority over non-College uses.
- A Facility Use form must be complete with all required signatures
before reservation is confirmed.
- Facility Requests as well as equipment requests are on a first come,
first served basis.
- Basic Controls
- Use will be denied or revoked immediately to any organization if
there is evidence that the facilities will be used for or to promote
illegal activities, or any activity that is in violation of RCC policy.
- Use will be denied or revoked for any activity prohibiting admission
on the basis of race, religion, ethnic groups, sex, disability or
national origin.
- Fees
- Differential fees are set forth as between RCC Sanctioned Clubs,
Non-Profit Organizations, and Business/Individual/Profit Organizations.
- Fees for facilities use are established by the Rogue Community College
Board of Education. The adopted schedule of fees is attached, including
charges for rooms, buildings, equipment, set-up, and related activity.
Organizations or individuals utilizing college facilities must submit
payment in full prior to the date of the event. College facilities
are not considered to be reserved until the RCC Office of College
Events (541-956-7304) has received all required documents and associated
payments.
- RCC has the right to require that necessary support services be utilized
and paid for.
- RCC reserves the right to require security at any event deemed necessary
by the college.
- Facility Regulations
- Alcoholic beverages are not allowed on RCC premises at any time.
- Food or drinks are not allowed inside any RCC facility except the
cafeteria.
- Weapons are not allowed on RCC premises at any time according to
RCC Board Policy No. II.B.040.
- Normal Business Hours are 7:00 a.m. – 10:00 p.m. Monday through Friday.
- Normal Cafeteria Business hours are 7:30 a.m. – 8:30 p.m. Monday through
Thursday, and 7:30 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. on Fridays. (Summer term hours may
vary).
- Smoking is allowed only in designated areas. Please observe the posted
notices regarding smoking.
- Adult supervision is required if minors and present at any event.
- Parking is only allowed in designated parking spaces. Please do not
park on grass or in other areas that are not designed for parking. If
parking lots are not left in original condition after an event, a fee
for clean up will be charged at the hourly fee per person set in the
current fee schedule.
- Applications for Facility Use must be submitted to the
Administrative Secretary to the Dean of College Services in "C" Building
on the Redwood Campus at least
10 days prior to event.
- A Cleaning/Damage/Security Deposit may be required, and is due along
with all other applicable fees is required to confirm reservation. Please
see current fee schedule for details. The deposit is refundable if the
facility is left in its original condition. The deposit will be returned
within 10-15 days after the final date of event at the request of the
organization.
- In the event of a cancellation, the deposit is 100% refundable if
the reservation is canceled at least 5 days prior to the event. If the
reservation is cancelled less than 5 days prior to the event, 50% of
the deposit will be refunded.
- Payment for all applicable fees is due prior to event to confirm reservation.
- Liability Insurance
- Liability Insurance in the amount of $1,000,000 is required for
use of:
- Athletic Facilities
- Concert Bowl
- Rogue Building
- Cafeteria Facilities
- Any group with 200 people or more
- The group must provide the college with a certificate of liability
insurance in the amount of $1,000,000 issued by the organization’s
insurance carrier naming the college as an additional insured.
- Certificate of Insurance must be provided to the RCC contact person
prior to the event. Certificate of Insurance is required to confirm
reservation.
- College employees may use the facilities for non-RCC activities, and
will be considered under the category of business/individual/profit
organization for all applicable fees.
- All facilities must be returned to the condition they were in prior
to the event. Time for clean up should be taken into consideration when
reserving the room for a specific time period. If the facility is not
returned to the original condition, fees will be charged at the rate
per person required for clean-up, normal wear and tear excepted. Please
refer to the current fee schedule for rates.
- The College reserves the right to place or waive other restrictions
and requirements on the use of its facilities.
The Organization/Individual using RCC facilities will be granted
use of the facility and equipment with the understanding and acceptance
of the responsibilities and conditions listed previous to this statement.
