Fill-in Employment Application Instructions To complete the RCC Employment Application using MS Word, select the link above and the application will open up in your browser. You can type information into the form by tabbing between the fields. The application can be printed by using your browser printer button. The Application for Employment form can be downloaded to your computer using Adobe Acrobat Reader. Please follow the instructions below to download the form in the manner in which you would prefer. The Application for Employment form is in Adobe PDF format. To view or print the document, you must have Adobe Acrobat Reader installed on your computer. The free plug-in is available from Adobe.com Please note that text input in the form fields of a PDF can not be saved, only printed. Completing the Form Download the form by following the instructions on the Fill-in Forms selection page. Your web browser may be configured with an Acrobat plug-in to automatically open the file within your browser's window upon download. To download the file directly to disk, right click on the form title link then select "Save Target/Link As.." when presented with a menu. Use Acrobat Reader to open the file if necessary. Select the hand tool from the Acrobat toolbar menu. You can use the hand tool to move the page around so that you can view all the areas on it. Position the hand pointer inside a form field and click. The I-beam pointer allows you to type text. The arrow pointer allows you to select a field or check box. You may also tab into a check box with Acrobat Reader 4.0. Press the space bar to insert a check mark. Press Tab to accept the field change and go to the next field. Press Shift + Tab to accept the field change and go to the previous field. Use your mouse to select an area of the form that is not inside a form field before printing your form. If a form field is active (contains the blinking bar) the contents will not print. When printing Adobe Acrobat PDF files from within your web browser, do NOT use the web browser print facility. Instead, use the print button at the left end of the special Adobe Acrobat tool bar, which appears immediately above the viewing window. |
